Canadian police on hunt for man who shot mounties
Police search for a suspect in the shooting of two Canadian officers near Edmonton, Alberta.(Photo: Jason Franson, AP)Canadian police are on the hunt for a man alleged to have shot two Royal Canadian Mounted Police at a casino north of Edmonton early Saturday.One officer is listed in grave and the other serious condition, according to a RCMP statement. The suspect is considered "armed and dangerous." He is described as between 25 and 35, wearing a two-toned blue jacket and jeans.The incident began when the officers arrived at the Apex Casino to respond to a complaint about a stolen vehicle. This led to an incident with the suspect, who fired on the officers who were not able to fire back.
